Musical Theatre

Booker T. Washington HSPVA offers a rigorous, integrated training program for Musical Theatre. All students have an opportunity to enroll (by audition) in a class focused on all elements of the art form including singing, acting, dancing, and stagecraft. Students in the musical theatre track enroll in foundational music, theatre, and dance courses to develop into well-rounded Musical Theatre performers.

Each year there are two fully-produced musicals on our campus: an all-school musical in the fall, and a spring musical built around the Musical Theatre class’s enrollment. Recent productions include:
