Mariachi Pegaso

Composed of students from Booker T. Washington HSPVA, Mariachi Pegaso performs regularly on the BTW campus, at local and state-wide competitions, and throughout the greater Dallas community. Last year, Mariachi Pegaso placed 6th in the Texas 6A State finals in Bryan, TX. In the past two years, the ensemble has earned “superior” ratings in regional UIL competitions and “excellent” ratings in state UIL competitions, including three individual “outstanding performer” awards. In the 2023-2024-year, Mariachi Pegaso has performed on the campus mainstage as part of Shredstock and the All-School Hispanic Heritage Celebration.
